For Sam, Oprea is more than a company — it’s a continuation of a family legacy that stretches back five generations. His great-grandfather owned a cabinet shop long before the family immigrated to the United States, and his father rebuilt that dream after escaping communism.

When his father passed, Sam felt called to continue the legacy, not only as a craftsman but as a provider — building a business that could support other families through honest work and timeless craftsmanship.

“If I put God first and applied His principles to my work, He would bless the business. That’s been true every step of the way.”

Faith remains at the center of Oprea’s mission — guiding each decision, shaping the company’s culture, and reminding us that true excellence begins with integrity.

Innovation with a Purpose

Sam envisioned a company that did things differently — one that controlled every step of the process under one roof: design, engineering, manufacturing, finishing, delivery, and installation. That dream became Kitchen & Bath Design Group, operated under the Oprea brand.

From concept to creation, every project is managed in-house, ensuring unmatched quality and precision. Today, Oprea operates out of an 85,000-square-foot facility equipped with the latest technology — robotic CNC machines, automated finishing lines, and advanced storage systems.

But behind every machine are skilled craftsmen — people whose hands and hearts make each project possible.

Lessons from the Journey

The road to success hasn’t been easy. Sam rebuilt from hardship, faced challenges with supply chains, staffing, and competition, and leaned on his faith to guide him forward.
